At Victoria our email inbox is constantly full of happy customers that are simply blown away by the superior tone they hear when they first plug in their Victoria. Here are a few of the customer reviews that we have gotten over the years. These are just the tip of the iceberg of customer reviews we have received!
I have played about 100 different amps. I have owned about 50 different amps. Half of those boutique. Owned Dr.Z, Fender custom shop, Swart, etc. . I don’t throw out compliments easy. I talked with you on the phone a few days ago. Bought a trem deluxe. Here’s my point. Best sounding and most fun I’ve ever had with amp. I might sleep with this thing tonight. Cannot stop playing. This has saved me from getting a little burned out in playing. Thinking about buying your champ version. Wow! Just can’t believe this amp. Thank you for making me smile since I Bought. Trem is amazing. Tone range is amazing. So many options for limited versatility amp. Just wow!!

I rarely write reviews on products I purchase; I typically do enough research to know exactly what I’m getting. If I do it’s only one of three reasons; the product failed miserably, there are features that may be confusing and worth explaining or calling out to the company, or the product exceeded my expectations. Your amps exceeded my expectations in every way, and I’d like to take the time to offer my praise.
I recently purchased your Silver Sonic amplifier after researching and testing various amps for a period of almost 5 years. During this time I bought 2 amps, a 65 Super Reverb Reissue, and a Marshall JTM 1 Watt. While each is good in its own way they lacked something. The 65 Super Reverb was the best but I couldn’t get the tone I wanted at a reasonable volume, and the Marshall was a one trick pony. After comparing numerous name brands and boutique amps I determined exactly what I wanted: an amp similar to the
Super Reverb but below 30 watts. I went through a number of brands, such as Reeves and even some Mojo Tone amps I got the chance to play, but your amps stood out. I have only personally gotten to play a few of your smaller models so I bought the Silver Sonic brand new site unseen and unheard based solely on the performance of amps like the Ivy League, 518 and 5112, and the fact that the Silver Sonic had similar features to the Super Reverb. Your amps are simple; straight forward, and pure. I can play bebop just as easily as I can play Stevie Ray, and the tone is amazing. No pedals, no tricks; just simple well-made amps. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and enjoyed the research and hours I spent testing your other models. None of them left me wondering whether or not I was playing a great amp. You’ve made amazing products and should be proud of your work; they are in my opinion the finest amps on the market.
At any rate, I’m proud to own this and my 2×12 Victorilux. Two great amps to add to my small but mighty collection. Thanks for allowing me to order directly from you. I really appreciate it and I honestly couldn’t be happier.
Take Care! Mike
I just wanted to drop you a quick line and let you know that as of yesterday, I am a proud owner of a 2×12 Victorilux purchased from Willcutt Guitars. The amp is truly amazing. I spent the better part of my evening playing through it and I can’t remember the last time an amp inspired me as much as this one does. I’d been looking for something in that ‘Fenderish’ category but couldn’t quite find what I was looking for. I have no local dealers that I can get to for a test drive, so I took a chance and ordered the amp on reputation alone. I’ll have to say that every wonderful comment I’d ever read about your amps couldn’t have prepared me for my first-hand experience. The tone is truly amazing, whether it be with my Telecasters or my Explorers. I could go on and on but I just wanted to say thank you for making such a great amp. It looks and sounds incredible. I hope to someday acquire another of your lower-powered tweed models, as they too interest me a great deal and I think it would be a lot of fun to have one.
I don`t know how you did it, but don`t ever change making this kind of stuff!!
Thanks a million , I can`t get the smile of my face.
I recently bought a Victoria 5112 and just wanted to tell you it’s the greatest amp I’ve ever owned! I LOVE IT!!! SUPERB build quality & attention to detail. I’m blown away! That’s really all I had on my mind.
Great job you guys!
Amp arrived today in mint shape and I plugged in my tele with Lollar 52’s and almost fell off my chair! It looks beautiful and the tone, responsiveness and clarity are amazing! Almost pissed my pants when I heard how nice and tight and defined it stayed when breaking up! This baby is exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier!
I was hours away from purchasing a Fender 57 Deluxe reissue when I spotted one of your tweed 20112 s/n 4059 for sale on ebay. After looking at your web page, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 20112. I am just writing to let you know that I am in tonal nirvana. You guys make one hell of an amp. The only true issue that I have at this point is that I find myself sometimes just strumming chords over and over again just to listen to the phenomenal tonal harmonics rather than working on my skills. Thank you for putting out such a great product! May you keep providing the music world with the dedication and quality that I have witnessed in your amp.
Very Respectfully, Jim
I just traded a couple of my old amps and some cash for one of your 45410. My dad bought one new in 1959. I have always loved his and wished I had one. I am completely thrilled with your product! It was like pulling it from a time capsule. I could go on for days about the tone, finish and craftsmanship but I’m sure you people know what a awesome product you produce. When I took it to my dads house we set the 59 and it side by side and fired them up. All I can say is you guys captured the magic that is a 59 bassman. I jokingly told dad I just couldn’t wait for him to die so I could get one. I played the new fender reissues and to me they are a big disappointment.
Gratefully yours, Craig
Bought my Regal II about two years ago from the guys in Highland Park. Haven’t gigged in the past two years either (after 30 some years of pretty steady week-end work).
Last night I did a gig with an old band of mine at a house party. The amp totally sang. Two 6V6s volume around 8 and I was in heaven. I’ve liked this amp a lot since I got it. I just found out for real how cool it is. Also, know that this is compared to a genuine vintage 64 Twin I’ve used since the late 80s (which I’m not sure I need anymore but I’m gonna keep it anyways). This also the first single speaker amp I’ve ever owned that doesn’t, to my ear, sound like a single speaker amp. It’s got all the juice, the warmth and complexity I could ever need.
Wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your creation.
I purchased a 45410 and I am in love with it. What a great amp!!! I sold other boutique amps for it. I had an original ’60 Bassman amp and I like the Victoria better. It sounds alive. This is the first amp I have ever owned that I am completely happy with.
I’ll keep this short because I can’t type and play at the same time. I just bought a 20112 and wow! It sounded great at the shop, but when I got it home and cranked it up a little more… well, I’m astonished too. I read the 50212 review in the September GP, but I’ve been in the market for a late 60’s Deluxe – so I thought I’d check out your 20112. Anyway, I fell in love. I’ve never played a real 50’s Tweed anything, all I know is that your amp sounds as sweet as anything I’ve ever heard. You’ve done a great job; I’ll be playing this 20112 for a long, long time.
I can’t tell you enough how much I am enjoying my 35310. Combined with my Don Grosh I know I strive every day to be worthy of this equipment. After 2 years ownership I love the amp more and more. It sounded great out of the box, and with age is only getting better. One of my favorite moments: A guitarist friend of mine, Mike, who loves effects, was inspecting my Victoria and commented on the excellent, subtle reverb. When I pointed out to him that there was no reverb he laughed in disbelief and began rooting around looking for the reverb control. When he could not find one he actually got angry. “But I can hear it!” Mark, this was a totally “dead: room. What Mike was hearing was the full, warmth and “aliveness” of the amp. I was thinking of going vintage before I bought a Victoria, but as a working musician I didn’t want to worry about an amp breaking down. Two years and I have not had a problem with my Victoria yet.
Thanks again! Jay
I would like to thank you for this great 35115. All your suggestions about the right speaker and tubes were right on. This amp smokes, what a great Tone, and it looks killer too. This amps sound fantastic at any volume level. You know that I own one of your 35310 since almost two year’s now, and how much I love it. Which was the reason why I ordered my second Victoria, besides my Reverberato, which has the best tremolo I’ve ever heard. I owned many amps over the past twenty years, but my 35310 is the first amp I like very time I turn it on. Since I never had the chance to compare my 35310 to an old Fender Bandmaster, I didn’t know if it nails the “real” tweed tone or not. But I really didn’t care either, because I’m in love with this tone. This time I had the pleasure of checking out a few Fender narrow panel Pro’s, which made me decide to order a Victoria 35115. My Victoria 35115 definitely nails the tweed tone and I agree with the latest Guitar Player review, I like it better than the old ones. This is for the guys who still think, only the old one’s can deliver the real Tweed Tone. Thanks again for the great job on my new 35115, I’m sure this is not the last Victoria that I bought.
Best Regards, George
I’ve really got my Reverberato dialed in! I run my guitar into the Reverberato (Tone=4, Level=6, Dwell=6) and the Reverberato into the Bright channel of my 45410. Before I got the Reverberato I preferred the 45410’s Normal channel; it’s darker tone seemed to work better with my Strats, especially the maple-necked ’58. But the Reverberato’s reverb does wonderful things to the Bright channel. It adds great warmth and depth while retaining the Bright channel’s snap. And when I hit the tremolo everyone within listening distance is immediately mesmerized! A great way to create sonic zombies. You really got it right with the Reverberato. I’m able to get great reverb and tremolo while still retaining the pure sound of the 45410 and my guitars.
Best regards, David
Dear Mr. Baier:
I recently purchased a Victoria 35310 amplifier and would like to thank you for producing an amplifier that looks, performs, and sounds as good or better than a 50’s tweed amp. I had long been looking for the tweed sound in something that I could take outside my home, and was persuaded to try your product by the many positive reviews in Guitar Player, etc.. Upon playing and hearing one, I was incredibly pleased to find that somebody finally got it right.
